I have bought the new Matra MS10 from Penelope Pitlane

Image

I have used the Slimline PP brass chassis with a red 20K scaley motor, Slot it Crown and used scaley Lotus 49 wheels & tyres (going to change the rears to Ortmanns)

I will be spray painting the body at the weekend and detailing the engine at the same time

I've had more time to study the pictures & it's very nice, so nice that I'm afraid we will have to sack Dave as our resedent scratch build champ !.

I hope it runs great for you & no I'm not being sarcastic :D, when I made my D50, it made my day when it ran well.

Top job mate (bob).

Cheers
Paul

I think I have a lot to learn before Dave needs to worry that someone going to steal his crown.

Top marks Marc. Excellent work. Nice neat job on the windscreen too - they can be very tricky.

(Interesting paint job on the battery and battery carrier... :))

Absolutely Bloody Marvelous matey! I gave up doing the screen on my Lotus, too fiddly trying to curve a narrow piece of plastic around the coaming. Got to get meself a classic F1 kit for next season.

Davey.

Thanks for all your kind remarks.

Dave, the reason for the colours was based on a photo I found and me putting my own stamp on the paint job. I wanted to break up the black on the rear.
